About Cassie Shokar
Cassie Shokar is a performance coach and operations associate at XONE Performance, specializing in movement analysis, athlete monitoring, and data-informed training systems. A former university-level women’s hockey goalie at Mount Royal University, Cassie brings firsthand experience of the physical and mental demands of high-performance sport alongside an academic foundation in Health and Physical Education with a focus on Sports & Recreation Management. Cassie currently serves as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the University of Calgary Women’s Field Hockey program, overseeing year-round athlete preparation, performance monitoring, return-to-play integration, and individualized development. She works closely with coaches and medical staff to align training with sport demands, athlete health, and long-term development goals.
At XONE, Cassie integrates advanced performance technologies into coaching workflows, including 3D motion capture, force-plate diagnostics, speed and power testing, muscle oxygenation monitoring, and cardiometabolic assessment. She uses these tools to build comprehensive performance profiles, translating complex data into actionable, individualized training blueprints. Cassie’s coaching philosophy emphasizes movement quality, resilience, and sustainable progress. She is a strong advocate for women’s health and performance, empowering athletes to train with purpose, competence, and autonomy.
