Golf Performance Assessment

Biomechanics + force data + coaching - built for golfers who want measurable improvement

Golf is a technical sport, but it’s also a full-body power and sequencing problem. At XONE Performance, our Golf-Specific Testing Protocol is designed to evaluate everything that drives performance on the course: movement quality, swing mechanics, force transfer, short game execution, and perceptual skill. We combine advanced biomechanical technology with instruction from a PGA of Canada Professional to create a complete, data-driven performance profile, and a clear pathway to improve.

What This Golf Assessment Measures

This assessment captures how golfers:

  • Load and coil through the body
  • Transfer force from the ground into the club
  • Sequence the pelvis, trunk, and shoulders
  • Maintain stability and control under speed
  • Perform across putting, short game, irons, and driver

Using our movement methodology, we identify the exact factors limiting:

  • Power
  • Consistency
  • Accuracy
  • Longevity and injury resilience

What’s Included in the Golf-Specific Testing Protocol

This is not a single swing video review, it’s a full performance system.

We begin with a full-body movement assessment using DARI 3D markerless motion capture.

This identifies:

  • Mobility and stability limitations
  • Coordination and motor control patterns
  • Side-to-side asymmetries
  • Injury risk factors that affect swing mechanics

We assess:

  • Pelvis and trunk sequencing
  • Hip, knee, ankle, and shoulder mechanics
  • Setup, backswing, downswing, impact, and follow-through
  • Energy transfer efficiency and swing consistency

This gives clear, actionable insight into where power is being lost and why.

We analyze putting, short game, irons, and driver swings using:

  • VALD ForceDecks
  • High-quality video breakdown

This allows us to quantify:

  • Ground reaction force production
  • Left vs right force transfer
  • Timing, impulse, and weight shift strategy
  • Real-time sequencing and stability patterns

Every athlete completes a one-hour assessment with a PGA of Canada Professional instructor.

Then, our performance team collaborates directly with the PGA of Canada Professional to merge:

  • Biomechanics
  • Force data
  • Technical coaching feedback

This ensures recommendations make sense for real golf, not just lab numbers.

We also evaluate athletic qualities that influence swing speed and injury resilience, including:

  • Peak force production
  • Impulse and power output
  • Jump and landing asymmetry
  • Lower-body force strategy

You’ll receive detailed video breakdowns of:

  • Putting
  • Short game
  • Irons
  • Driver

With slow-motion analysis, annotations, and coaching overlays.

What You Leave With

Each golfer receives a complete performance profile including:

  • Full DARI + ForceDecks + Senaptec report
  • Full 3D swing biomechanics analysis
  • Shot-specific annotated video clips
  • PGA of Canada Professional technical assessment notes
  • Comparative benchmarks (age, level, and performance standards)
  • Clear training + swing recommendations
  • A professional digital/printed performance booklet

Why This Matters

This assessment bridges the gap between golf coaching and human performance.

It helps golfers:

  • Improve swing power and sequencing
  • Build consistency under speed
  • Optimize weight transfer and stability
  • Reduce injury risk through asymmetry correction
  • Strengthen both short game and long game mechanics
  • Build a body that supports golf for life
